Our Secret
The Vine
The vine in our logo symbolizes strength, determination, endurance, survival, progress, pruning, and the personal growth that occurs in a covenantal relationship.
The Grants use the vine in their marriage covenant, the company logo, and as an analogy for their consulting methodology and toolkits. Grape vines:
- Are living and life-giving. Vines are living and produce fruit that gives life to others.
- Require pruning. Pruning is necessary for growth and requires an honest look at weaknesses, inhibiting forces, failures, and blind spots.
- Have the purpose of bearing fruit. Vines have a purpose and everything they do is for that purpose.
- Benefit from grafting. We can graft in processes and partnerships to spur your vine to produce greater fruit.
- Are rooted. Vines are rooted in the nutrients and environment they need to continuously grow.
- Are persistent. Vines are resilient and keep growing despite inhibiting forces.
- Are continuously growing. Vines grow year after year, getting better and more fruitful with time.
- Require servant leadership. The vinedresser is not better than the vine—he is necessary for the vine’s growth, faithfully tending to the vine to help it achieve its purpose of bearing fruit. We encourage and equip leaders to be servant leaders.
